Aloys Schmitt is best remembered for his Op. 16 exercises. The collection is divided into three sections. The first aids students in developing finger independence through a variety of single and double-note patterns within the range of a fifth. The second section emphasizes passing the thumb under fingers to prepare for scales and arpeggios. The final section provides traditional scales and arpeggios in a notated format with fingering.

There are several teaching sports approaches for school-age sports practitioners. However, relatively few models have a substantial theoretical and scientific foundation. In this sense, the present work aims to serve as an introduction on which to support the didactical process of a Non-Linear Pedagogy of games teaching, as described in the first chapter. A comparison between the traditional approach of sports teaching and the Teaching Games for Understanding model within the Slovak Republic context is exposed. Subsequently, experience in the Sport Education model in Finland is presented. Then, research regarding teachers' experiences with the Cooperative Learning model at different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds is developed. Finally, an example of the Non-Linear Pedagogy program is used in Malaysia.

Excerpt from Preparatory Exercises for Correcting False Habits of Utterance, With Principles of Pronunciation, Introductory to Elements of Expression Intellectual utterance addresses itself chiefly to the under standing; emotional utterance to the feelings. Correct habits in sitting and standing are essential as preparatory steps in the training of the voice. The vigor and power of the voice depend to a great extent upon the vigor of the physical system, hence what ever exercise tends to expand the chest and invigorate the body, tends to give strength and clearness of tone to the voice.
